Marc Rebillet 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
The Marc Rebillet tour has extended through fall 2022, taking the electronic sensation to many major cities. His next concert takes place July 16th in Calgary, AB, while he’ll continue through November 5th in Berkeley, CA.
Rebillet started 2022 on a solid note with high-profile festival slots, including Bonnaroo. He’ll also make appearances at Badlands Music Festival, Hard Summer, Life is Beautiful, and Music Midtown before he begins his headlining Marc Rebillet concerts. What can we expect at these shows? There are a lot of in-between song banter and shirtless moments that you’ve come to expect from Rebillet, but maybe a few new tracks will also make their live debut.
He’s continuing to support his 2020 release, Loop Daddy III, which provided us with dance-worthy moments and comic relief in the middle of a dark time. However, Rebillet is also working on a new record that’s very different from his previous work. The YouTube and Twitch star is taking a break from freestyling and improvising, the basis behind his music, and putting more rehearsing on the books.
“Over the course of these 12 studio sessions that we just did, we worked through a few ideas that I’ve had for a long time,” Rebillet told Dallas Observer. “We sort of turned those into full song blueprints. We came up with an A and a B section, a bridge, and a melody for the choruses and for the verses. I would say we have about 10 to 12 blueprints for full tracks.” He continued by saying that he’ll meet his producer, The Kount, very soon, “and together we will flesh out the songs into more fully-formed tracks.”
“And we’ll really do the detail work and retract some of the instruments and track my full stacked harmonies and vocals,” he concluded. “But yeah, in a nutshell, it’s absolutely written, composed, and rehearsed. It’s very different from what I normally do.” It’s definitely out of the norm for Rebillet, especially considering the typical Marc Rebillet concert. EDM.com describes Rebillet’s performance style to perfection. “All of his performances are completely improvised. He does not make use of any sort of setlist,” the publication says about Marc Rebillet concerts. “And oftentimes, there is a lot of fan participation in choosing what to sing about next.”
