Slipknot 2026 Tour Announcement – (sic)est Stadium Tour Schedule
Slipknot are going bigger than ever in 2027, which is saying a lot for one of the biggest bands in metal. The “(sic)est Stadium Tour” begins its North American leg July 16 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., before hitting Queens, Montréal, Toronto, Chicago, Hershey, Boston, Nashville, Houston, Los Angeles and more. It wraps August 18 at Chase Field in Phoenix, with Bring Me The Horizon appearing at every North American show. Acid Bath, Lamb of God, Motionless In White, Lorna Shore, Kublai Khan TX, Polyphia, Loathe, and Vended will rotate as additional support.
And calling this a “tour” almost feels like underselling it. Fenway Park, Soldier Field, SoFi Stadium, Citi Field — the 2027 Slipknot tour is hitting some of the biggest venues of their career with a new stage production and a setlist spanning multiple generations of masked mayhem. Chicago gets Lamb of God, Hershey and Boston get Lorna Shore, Houston gets Polyphia, and San Francisco gets both Motionless In White and Loathe. Basically, Slipknot took the idea of a metal festival, gave every city its own lineup, and decided to put the whole thing inside stadiums.
Because who better to do it than the Iowa masked metal band that’s become famous for taking risks over the past three decades? Additionally, that career-spanning setlist has a lot to work with. “Wait and Bleed,” “People = Shit,” “Duality,” “Before I Forget,” “Psychosocial,” and “Unsainted” have all become Slipknot concert staples, and now there’s fresh material entering the stadium. September brought “Arsenal,” their first new song in four years and first release under their own (sic)est Records label. It also arrived during another period of lineup change for the band, following longtime turntablist Sid Wilson’s departure and with former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande now behind the kit.
Don’t assume “Arsenal” tells you exactly what Slipknot’s next album will sound like, though. Guitarist Jim Root has already said the single won’t make the upcoming record and that the band is deliberately experimenting with different approaches instead of trying to recreate Slipknot or Iowa. He’s also described the new sessions as rawer and more uncomfortable in a way that reminds him of their early years. Translation? They’re not interested in becoming their own tribute act just because they can fill 70,000-person stadiums now.
And then there’s Bring Me The Horizon. Oli Sykes and company have undergone their own transformation from MySpace-era metalcore chaos into one of modern heavy music’s biggest crossover acts, making them a pretty perfect match for this run. BMTH warming up a stadium before Corey Taylor walks out in whatever nightmare fuel passes for his latest mask feels perfectly natural, like two eras of metal colliding in one night. “Shadow Moses” giving the venue something to scream about before “Custer”? It’s a metal fan’s dream.
Slipknot’s legacy makes the stadium leap feel earned. They formed in Des Moines in 1995, broke internationally after Ozzfest and their 1999 self-titled debut, then pushed even further with 2001’s Iowa. They’ve since earned 11 Grammy nominations and won Best Metal Performance for “Before I Forget,” all while turning masks, jumpsuits, percussion rigs, and controlled chaos into one of the most recognizable live identities in heavy music. And we love them for it. Get your verified resale tickets now.
