Slipknot 2021 Tour Announcement – Knotfest Roadshow Tour Schedule
Slipknot is making a grand return to the stage, announcing the Knotfest Roadshow Tour for fall 2021 alongside fellow rock heavyweights Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, and Code Orange. The heavy metal tour begins on September 25th in Slipknot’s hometown of Iowa, before heading to 24 cities across the United States and wrapping up in Phoenix, AZ in November.
As any metal fan knows, Knotfest is a big deal. Slipknot founded the music festival all the way back in 2012, and it’s been held every year since – hosting acts like Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Deftones and Bring Me the Horizon.
This all changed in 2020 as COVID-19 restrictions put an indefinite hold on Knotfest. The Slipknot-founded music festival has a cult following that was devastated to see Knotfest postponed for the first time in nearly a decade. However, fans knew that Slipknot would come back bigger, louder, and more metal than ever… and that’s exactly what the group plans to do with the Knotfest Roadshow Tour in 2021.
“With the world opening up, it’s time to get excited about life again,” Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor said in a statement. “To get back to life again. This tour is a long time coming and we hope you’re as excited to see it as we are to play it. Stay safe, and we’ll see you soon.”
Three things you’ll find at any Slipknot concert? Masks, metal, and lots of moshing, and it only gets more intense with the first Slipknot Tour in nearly two years..
The band last performed in Europe in February 2020 in support of their sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, and will be returning in summer 2021 for shows in Switzerland, Russia, Bulgaria, and more before heading back to the United States for the start of Knotfest.
Slipknot’s action-packed live shows have become a pivotal aspect of their legacy, and Knotfest Roadshow Tour 2021 will show you exactly why. Check the tour schedule below and buy your Slipknot tickets today!
