Dylan Scott 2026 Tour Announcement – Dear Big City Tour Schedule
Dylan Scott is bringing his small-town roots to the “Dear Big City Tour” in 2027, and the ironic name is only the first sweet surprise you can expect. The country singer will kick off the 18-city run on January 21 in Detroit before visiting Grand Rapids, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, Albuquerque, Spokane and more, wrapping March 6 in Wenatchee, WA. Graham Barham, Cody Lohden and Jacob Hackworth will rotate as special guests along the way.
“It only felt right to name this tour after the song that calls to the big city as a small-town kid,” Scott said of the run. “I know a lot of our fans have left their hometowns to venture into some of these bigger markets, and we’re so excited to be able to bring the live show to them in the new year.” Indeed, Scott has come a long way from his Louisana hometown, leaving for the lights of Nashville as a teenager and churning out country music hits in record time.
He wrote “Dear Big City” about that very brave thing he did, so it’s no wonder why fans are eating it up. The song has climbed the country radio airplay charts, and has quickly found its place among his greatest hits like “My Girl,” “Hooked,” and “New Truck.” He wouldn’t have been able to reach this level of stardom without the city lights, and now he’s visiting all the best spots across the country while singing about his gratitude.
And also his family. While “Dear Big City” is an ode to his son and the fact that he may leave for the big city too someday, Scott’s other music is also very sentimental. “My Girl” was inspired by his wife, while songs like “Can’t Have Mine (Find You A Girl),” “What He’ll Never Have,” and “Slow Down Ol’ Son” have turned marriage, parenthood, and growing older into some of his biggest material. Now isn’t that just country as hell? His 2025 album Easy Does It pushed things further into that territory — very romantic, but also rooted in small town tales of hope.
Clearly, it’s working for him. Scott has seven No. 1 singles, more than 5 billion career streams, and a live show that has steadily moved into bigger rooms over the past few years. He’s got plenty of heel-kicking, beer-spilling, and hat-tippin’ tracks to balance the family-man moments, while his latest track “Girl From Louisiana” even interpolates Garth Brooks’ “Callin’ Baton Rouge.” Did someone say hometown pride?
The “Dear Big City Tour” feels especially fitting for this point in Scott’s career, as he’s still singing about the places and people who made him, only now he gets to bring those songs to increasingly bigger stages across the country.
