Blake Shelton 2021 Tour Announcement – Friends and Heroes Tour Schedule
Blake Shelton is going back on the road for the Friends and Heroes 2021 tour, and ready to “play some country music for ya’ll until they turn on the lights.” In a statement, the country music star announced that he would be making 17 stops around the US, beginning August 18th in Omaha, Nebraska.
This Blake Shelton 2021 tour picks up right where the previous one left off, as Omaha is the very same city where Shelton was forced to cancel the remaining dates of his Friends and Heroes tour in March 2020. This year features rescheduled dates from 2020, plus several new stops in Nashville, Evansville, and Grand Rapids. Most Blake Shelton concerts will feature appearances from country music’s biggest names, including Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins, and Lindsay Ell.
“A little over a year ago when the world shut down and we had to postpone the tour, I was already in Omaha getting ready for the show that night. I told you we would be back,” Shelton said in a statement. You might as well tell your boss you’re gonna be late to work the next day and pay that babysitter overtime, because we are going to play some country music for y’all until they turn on the lights. And that might not stop us!” With this level of excitement from the 20-year country music veteran, the Friends and Heroes 2021 tour will be quite the party.
Blake Shelton is one of the busiest country music stars in the world. He just released his twelfth album, Body Language, in May 2021, while also juggling his time as a coach on NBC’s The Voice and soon-to-be-husband to Gwen Stefani. Now that live music is making its grand return, he’s ready to go onstage and make Friends and Heroes one of the best Blake Shelton tours in recent years.
