Dropkick Murphys 2026 Tour Announcement – St. Patrick’s Day Tour Schedule
Dropkick Murphys are charging back into the pit in 2027 with another St. Patrick’s Day Tour, this time bringing Home Front and Spiritual Cramp along for the ride. The six-week trek kicks off February 5 in Albuquerque before hitting Tempe, Anaheim, Sacramento, Vancouver, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Brooklyn and more. The first batch of dates wraps March 11 in Portland, ME, but don’t put away the green beer just yet…the band’s traditional hometown Boston shows are still to be announced.
Dropkick Murphys are to St. Patrick’s Day what Mannheim Steamroller is to Christmas — a celebratory symbol that knows green is their color. It’s in the beer, decorations, and most importantly the songs…as you haven’t really lived until you’ve danced along to “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” in the middle of March. It’s their most famous song that makes even the non-Irish want to do a jig, but also far from the only festive track on their roster.
Songs like “Rose Tattoo,” “The Boys Are Back,” “The State of Massachusetts,” and “The Season’s Upon Us” have given Dropkick Murphys enough material to turn March into their own personal holiday season. And while those older favorites will always get the loudest singalongs, the band has newer material to work with, too. Their 2025 album For the People brought tracks like “Who’ll Stand With Us?” and “Chesterfields and Aftershave” into the mix, with an expanded edition later adding five more songs.
The 2027 run also includes one of the most aggressively New England tour stops imaginable. On March 10, Dropkick Murphys will perform in Springfield, MA after the Springfield Thunderbirds take on the Charlotte Checkers, with a combination ticket covering both the hockey game and postgame concert. Hockey, Celtic punk, and a crowd already emotionally prepared to scream “Boston” at strangers? Seems about right.
That sense of community is really the whole Dropkick Murphys legacy. For more than three decades, they’ve turned Celtic punk into something for everyone — representing the working-class, Boston pride, and family traditions in a way that makes it feel like St. Patty’s Day year-round. The songs may be rough around the edges, like the men in the band themselves, but the message has always been about loyalty, friendship, and showing up for your people.
So yes, the official Boston dates are still coming, but the rest of the 2027 St. Patrick’s Day celebration is already shaping up nicely. Wear green, protect your beer in the pit, and get your verified resale tickets now.
