Pop Evil 2023 Tour Announcement – Flesh & Bone Tour Schedule
Pop Evil is ready to play, slay, and repeat! The alternative metal band is starting its “Flesh & Bone Tour” in the fall of 2023, beginning on October 28th in Fort Smith, AR. They’ll make 18 stops before wrapping up on November 22nd in Grand Rapids, MI.
The Michigan-based group is still on a high over their seventh album, Skeletons, released earlier this year…and can you blame them? It’s a solid rock album that delivers radio-friendly hits like “Eye of The Storm” (the #5 most played song on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart) and “Paranoid (Crash & Burn).” However, don’t ever refer to them as “butt rock!” These tracks are mainstream, but manage to keep all the lyrical depth you know and love from Pop Evil. In fact, Skeletons may just be one of their personal records yet.
“This is about us as a band stripping everything down to the bones,” frontman Leigh Kakaty said about the album. “It’s more uptempo, it’s got bigger riffs, and we’re trying to capture the energy of our live show.” “But it’s also a positive message,” he adds, “I know it’s a morbid visual, but behind every skeleton, there’s a story and something worth talking about. Overall, it’s about looking at something in a positive way. And I’m excited for everyone to hear that.”
For over two decades, Pop Evil has been known one of the most uplifting bands in the rock scene. Songs like “Torn to Pieces,” “Footsteps,” “Survivor,” and “Trenches” are super-catchy reminders of the importance of mental health, acceptance, and resilience. Their connection to their fans is simply profound and even more obvious during Pop Evil concerts. This is when the crowd tends to cry happy tears and sing along to every encouraging song! While the Flesh & Bone Tour will largely support Skeletons, it’s also a celebration of Pop Evil’s profound impact in the alternative metal scene.
