Joe Bonamassa 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Joe Bonamassa is bringing the blues to a city near you! The Grammy-nominated guitarist will begin his fall tour on October 8th in Nashville, TN, and continue through December 12th in Hollywood, FL.

This tour will support Bonamassa’s sixteenth album, Time Clocks, which is due for release on October 29th. The new record and tour dates have been a long time coming for the famed guitarist and blues-rock singer, who has been open about his struggles taking a break from touring during the pandemic. 

“It was like okay, what are you? Am I a guitar player? No. Am I a singer? No. Songwriter? No. I’m an entertainer,” Bonamassa told Guitar.com about putting a pause on touring for the first time in nearly three decades. 

“The three things I just described feed into the one thing I think I’m actually good at, which is entertaining,” he continued. “And by entertaining that means in a room, with people, reading a room and a crowd.”

Needless to say, Bonamassa didn’t hop on the virtual concert bandwagon like many other artists during the pandemic. However, he was able to complete work on one of his best albums to date! Time Clocks is a bluesy-rock classic that serves as a love letter to his longtime fans while introducing new listeners to the guitar god in the fancy suit.

For the record, “guitar god” isn’t an exaggeration… and Rolling Stone used this very term to describe Bonamassa in 2020. He’s become known for his collection of vintage guitars that he can play like a dream, helping to bring a bit of blues into the pop and hip-hop-filled music charts.

As the son of a guitar shop owner who began playing the instrument at four years old, and was mentored at age eleven by guitar hero Danny Gatton… Bonamassa was always destined for greatness. His experiences and accolades at only 44-years-old rival that of a musician twice his age, and he can’t wait to get back to his rightful place onstage.
