MercyMe 2021 Tour Announcement – Inhale/Exhale Tour Schedule
MercyMe is heading on the “Inhale/Exhale” tour in support of their tenth studio album, and you can see the Christian band in your city this fall! The 30-date trek begins on September 30th in Lubbock, TX, and ends on November 21st in Indianapolis, IN.
Before their set at the Grand Ole Opry in July 2021, MercyMe had not performed since March 2020 – right before the pandemic halted live music. It wasn’t easy for the Christian band to stop touring after nearly thirty years… but they found success through the power of friends, fans, and prayer.
Inhale (Exhale) is MercyMe’s first new album since 2017, and its success has continued for months after the April 2021 release. Fans love all sixteen tracks – including “Almost Home,” “A Little Love,” and “Blessed” – which provide catchy hooks and a lot of faith after a stressful year.
In an interview with Billboard, singer Bart Millard opened up about MercyMe’s legacy and appreciation for longtime fans. “I want people to say, ‘Man, he was a good songwriter’ when it’s all said and done,” he said. “The fact that we’ve been here for 27 years and people still care is mind-blowing. I’ve never been more grateful for the fact that I still get to keep doing this.”
The year 2021 is memorable for MercyMe. Not only does it mark the return of live music, but it’s also the 20th anniversary of the band’s breakthrough album, Almost There. You know, the one that helped them become Billboard’s top Christian artist of the 2010s and earned them numerous accolades!
Even between all the Dove, Billboard, and American Music Awards, it’s still the faith and support of their fans that powers MercyMe through performances. They can’t wait to play all their new tracks for you on the Inhale/Exhale tour and hope to see you in your city! Check the tour schedule below and get your tickets to see MercyMe today.
