Flogging Molly 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Flogging Molly is embarking on a co-headlining tour with The Interrupters in summer 2022, joined by Tiger Army and The Skints for a punk fest you can’t miss. See the punk rock heroes beginning June 7th in Indianapolis, IN, and continuing through September 21st in Paso Robles, CA.
“We’re excited to share the news of our upcoming tour with the one and only, The Interrupters,” Flogging Molly singer and guitarist Dave King said in a statement. “We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great time together. Let’s have some fun in the sun!” The tour poster features an electric green skull with a hot pink mohawk, in true punk fashion, and it’s a visual representation of the killer time you’ll have on this Flogging Molly tour.
Flogging Molly and The Interrupters are cut from the same cloth. And by cloth, we’re talking about the Misfits T-shirts they likely wore at the best venues on the Sunset Strip. Both bands hail from sunny Los Angeles, CA, though Flogging Molly was formed around 15 years earlier and has a Celtic sound that The Interrupters doesn’t. Regardless, they’re going to have a grand time together back on stage after a two-year hiatus, and we can’t wait to hear old and new punk hits.
Neither Flogging Molly nor The Interrupters has released a new album in the past few years, but we’re hoping that changes in 2022. The latter group just celebrated their ten-year anniversary last year, and what better way to celebrate than with a tour that puts some new songs on display?
