Green Day 2021 Tour Announcement – Hella Mega Tour Schedule
Rock fans rejoice with the return of Green Day’s Hella Mega Tour, in which the band is joined by Fall Out Boy and Weezer for a stadium tour unlike any other. Originally planned for 2020, the rescheduled dates begin on July 24th, 2021 in Dallas as the Hella Mega tour makes 22 stops around the country through summer.
Hella Mega is a fitting name for this Green Day tour, which was announced with a bang in 2019. Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer each released new music on the same day as the tour announcement, and fans across the United States and Europe frantically bought their tickets to see these rock juggernauts.
While all three bands have spent their fair share of time on tiny festival stages (looking at you, Warped Tour), Hella Mega tour was destined to be an arena-rocking experience that takes you back to the heyday of 2005 rock. Until it wasn’t.
Like the rest of live music, the Hella Mega tour was postponed until further notice. But the three rock bands have each been touring for decades, and fans knew that they would be back with a bang. As expected, the Green Day tour was soon confirmed for summer 2021 with Fall Out Boy and Weezer as supporting acts.
Hella Mega Tour takes place in some of the most famous baseball stadiums in the country, including Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, and Boston’s Fenway Park. Each features a genius sound system that amplifies can’t miss, rock hits like Green Day’s “American Idiot” or Weezer’s “Buddy Holly,” and this is a tour that you definitely don’t want to skip.
