Dwight Yoakam 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
One of the biggest country music stars in the world has been performing all through 2021, and you don’t want to miss the chance to see Dwight Yoakam! In addition to being a supporting act on Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show, which runs through July 2022, he will also embark on his own tour on September 2nd in West Fargo, ND!
As the two country singers go way back, it’s safe to assume that Yoakam has been having a great time on the All American Road Show with Chris Stapleton. They teamed up at the 50th Annual CMA Aw ards in 2016 for a cover of the Willie Nelson and Ray Charles hit, “Seven Spanish Angels” – earning critical acclaim and solidifying their partnership in the country music scene.

They’ve teamed up several more times over the years, including Stapleton co-writing the Dwight Yoakam song “Then Here Came Monday” in 2018… and this tour was a great opportunity for the two men to reconnect after the pandemic.
Of course, Dwight Yoakam’s rise to fame in country music happened decades ago. Since the 1980s, the neotraditionalist country singer has released seventeen studio albums with all your favorite honky-tonk hits. Do tracks like “Fast As You,” “Guitars, Cadillacs,” “Honky Tonk Man,” and “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere” ring a bell? He’ll gladly play them all on the solo Dwight Yoakam tour in the fall.
What has made Dwight Yoakam such an iconic country hitmaker over the past forty years? He brings honky-tonk hits with the occasional hint of Southern rock, which sets him apart from the many country-pop artists of today.
That being said, the Kentucky-born singer is always ready to play alongside modern country artists like Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith. Just look at his Instagram page! His collaborations with modern artists have helped him gain younger fans while also maintaining his loyal fanbase of the last forty years, all of whom will be gathered to see Dwight Yoakam on tour this September.
