Chase Atlantic 2022 Tour Announcement – Cold Nights Tour Schedule
Chase Atlantic is heading on the “Cold Nights tour” in summer 2022, taking the Australian trio to dozens of US cities. Joined by Leah Kate and Xavier Mayne, they’ll kick off the trek on July 6th in San Francisco, CA, and continue through August 26th in Los Angeles, CA.
This Chase Atlantic tour is named for their latest single, one of several new songs on the recently-released deluxe edition of their album, BEAUTY IN DEATH. It hasn’t been long since they dropped the original record in March 2021, but a lot has changed for Chase Atlantic and the world around them. They’re rapidly rising in popularity as people fall in love with their genre-defying and beautifully chaotic sound. And quite honestly? This is likely the last time you’ll have a chance at tickets for a Chase Atlantic tour in small-to-medium-sized venues.
It’s difficult to pin down what genre we’d define Chase Atlantic as. Members Christian Anthony and Mitchell and Clinton Cave describe their sound as “conjured up dark alternative pop punctuated by rock and R&B,” and fans agree. Some may remember them from the punk-inspired Warped Tour stage in the late 2010s, while others know the trio from their beats inspired by R&B icons like The Weeknd. The trio incorporates hints of R&B, rock, synthpop, new wave, and hip-hop into every track, ensuring that no song sounds the same. And you’ll witness a one-of-a-kind concert on this Chase Atlantic tour.
The new songs on the deluxe version of BEAUTY IN DEATH are a beautiful blur of genre-blending and alternative vibes. “COLD NIGHTS” is a bit dark but relatable as we adjust to post-pandemic life and concert schedules. In a statement, the band explained that the track deals with “difficult and deeply lonely times in Chase Atlantic’s life.” They elaborated by calling it a “feeling of being lost in an intense, overly stimulating new city and lifestyle, with the weight of the world being shouldered almost independently.”
This feeling undoubtedly makes sense for the Australian trio, as they make a new home for themselves on other continents to record songs and tour the globe. It’s a bittersweet feeling to leave everything you know, but you’ll make them feel right at home as you sing along to “COLD NIGHTS” in the crowd on this Chase Atlantic tour.
