Tove Lo 2023 Tour Announcement – Dirt Femme Tour Schedule
Tove Lo is all set for the “Dirt Femme tour” in early 2023, supporting her all-new EP of the same name. She’ll’ kick off on February 6th in Nashville, TN, with 17 stops before wrapping up on March 2nd in Los Angeles, CA.
“ARE YOU READY??? North America #DirtFemmeTour is coming in February, and it is going to be worth the wait,” the singer wrote on the Tove Lo Twitter page, “Special guest @slayyyter (love u!) will start the party every show.” Lo has done a ton of cool things in 2022, including her appearances at music festivals like Float Fest and Lollapalooza, but it’s’ about time she embarked on a headlining tour. The eclectic Swedish artist knows how to put on a distinctive show every night, even stating in her own words that “it’s going to be magic, so you know, mandatory presence.”
Dirt Femme is a solid dance-pop album beloved by fans and critics alike. It features singles like “How Long,” 2 Die 4,” and “No One Dies From Love” that have earned her a reputation as “the saddest girl in Sweden” and “Sweden’s darkest pop export.” How can such upbeat bops possibly have the darkest lyrics and vibes ever? Only Tove Lo can do it, and she somehow crafts her songs in a dreamy and dance-worthy way rather than depressing. She’s always been a bit rough around the edges, but Dirt Femme was a chance for her to reinvent femininity on her own terms. “I’ve’ looked back on how my femininity has helped and hurt me throughout my life,” she said in an early 2022 interview, “And I think the album has that tone to it.” I’m’ bringing up all these questions and feelings and emotions that don’t necessarily have answers. It’s’ just more my current place of wonder.”
