Bazzi 2022 Tour Announcement
Bazzi continues on the “Infinite Dream tour” through fall 2022, taking the pop-R&B singer to all the major cities. The next Bazzi concert takes place on October 17th in Dallas, TX, with stops in Lake Buena Vista, FL, New York, NY, Denver, CO, and more before concluding on November 15th in Los Angeles, CA.
Bazzi’s sophomore album, Infinite Dream, was released in September 2022, featuring new songs like “SYWM,” “Little Miss Sunshine,” and “Uh Oh.” Some of the song titles are more on the serious side, like the titular track, while others, like “Only Fan,” put that Gen Z humor on full display! These Bazzi concerts have been bringing his incredible voice front and center for the last few weeks, and he’s excited to share his new songs with the biggest US cities. We know that Chicago and San Francisco are excited to hear his breakout single, 2017’s “Mine,” which made its way across every social media platform. Of course, the new songs might just be giving it a run for its money.
“I have been through so much over the last four years, and making this album pulled my head above water so many times,” Bazzi said in an Instagram post about Infinite Dream. “I’ve poured every piece of who I am and who I’ve been into this album. The greatest joy of my life so far will be finally giving you this and letting you get to know me again through my best body of work to date. Welcome to the dream.” Critics certainly agree with this powerful assessment, with Dancing Astronaut giving the record a metaphorical five-star review.
“Sonically, Infinite Dream hears Bazzi meld pop and R&B sensibilities with confessional lyricism and slick hooks in his what-you-see-is-what-you-get custom,” the publication says, “‘Lost In The Simulation’ and ‘Only Fan’ diverge from his stylistic status quo, finding him in a fun, experimental space.” “As much as Infinite Dream aches (see “Will It Ever Feel The Same?”), it also celebrates and embraces the same motifs that it works through (love, letting go, and uncertainty).”
Bazzi has been through a lot of those things (uncertainty and letting go, mostly) in the last few years, which is hardly a secret. His career skyrocketed in the late 2010s with “Mine,” which became a Musical.ly meme and Snapchat lens filter and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was soon followed by his debut album, 2018’s Cosmic, which showed his star power in more ways than one. However, things came to a screeching halt when the pandemic hit the flowing year. Bazzi concerts couldn’t happen, his album was delayed, and he was forced to grow up very quickly, both as an artist and otherwise. The good news? He’s done an incredible job. The 20-year-old kid you heard on “Mine” is now a much more confident, stronger-voiced version of himself that can’t wait to show to legions of fans each night. And you can see it for yourself on the Bazzi tour. Get your tickets today!
