The Lumineers 2025 Tour Announcement – Automatic Tour Schedule
An “automatic” addition to your concert calendar! The Lumineers are setting out on the North American leg of their “Automatic tour,” named for their fifth album of the same name. The indie-rock favorites will begin on July 3rd in Saratoga Springs, NY, continuing through October 14th in Austin, TX.
“This album marks 20 years of songwriting between Jeremiah Fraites and me,” Wesley Schultz, one half of The Lumineers, shared on Instagram. “The album explores some of the absurdities of the modern world, like the increasingly blurry line between what’s real and what’s not, and the variety of ways we numb ourselves while trying to combat both boredom and overstimulation.” Is there anything more 2025 than that? We didn’t think so.
Tracks like “You’re All I Got” and “Same Old Song” support this blunt description, with the latter featuring dark-but-divine lyrics about the not-so-retty realities of life. Surviving a plane crash. laying on the cold bathroom floor, and picturing the “black Sedan of depression?” It’s a far cry from “Ho Hey,” the upbeat indie-rock number that shot The Lumineers to stardom back in 2012. However, this switch of lyrical focus is also the basis behind their musical transition.
The Lumineers aren’t the same band they were 13 years ago…they’re even better. They still deliver the same rustic melodies and revolutionary songwriting, only through a different lens that only comes with personal and professional growth. Automatic is their fifth album overall, and first since 2022’s Brightside, and they’ve greatly expanded their sound with new songs like “Plasticine,” “Keys on the Table,” “So Long” and “Sunflowers.”
You’ll hear them all on the new Lumineers tour, along with old favorites like “Ho Hey,” “Ophelia,” “Stubborn Love” and “Sleep on the Floor.” Blending nostalgia with newness, these shows will help you see why The Lumineers are one of the indie rock greats. There’s a reason why they’ve sold millions of records (their self-titled debut went triple platinum), been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, and achieved global success with their folk-inspired anthems!
Now, they’re ready to dive into something new with Automatic, and they can’t wait for you to join them on tour. Get your The Lumineers tickets today!
