Nine Inch Nails 2025 Tour Announcement – Peel It Back Tour Schedule
Nine Inch Nails are finally returning to the road in 2025 with the “Peel It Back Tour,” taking the industrial rock icons across the country! Trent Reznor and Co. will begin on August 6th in Oakland, CA, stopping in 20+ cities before finishing up on September 18th in Los Angeles, CA.
Throughout their 37-year-career, Nine Inch Nails have never done anything by the book…and this trek is no exception. This isn’t just your typical greatest hits show! Don’t get us wrong, they’ll add all your old favorites to the setlist, including “Closer,” “Head Like a Hole,” “The Hand That Feeds” and “Hurt.” However, the band wants to ensure that they’ll celebrate their full career trajectory, as opposed to simply dwelling on the past, and the name of this Nine Inch Nails tour reflects that.
‘Peel It Back’ is a nod to Reznor’s ethos of stripping back artifice to reveal raw emotion — something fans can expect in the setlist, stage design, and musical arrangements. Reaching way back to albums like their debut, 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine, and 1994’s legendary The Downward Spiral (which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year), nothing is off limits. They’ll also pay tribute to their latest albums, Ghosts V: Together, and Ghosts VI: Locusts, which were released back-to-back in 2020.
Not to mention, they’ve hinted that new music is on the way! The band, now consisting of Reznor and Atticus Ross, has taken a break from making new Nine Inch Nails songs to score films instead — working on movies like Challengers, Queer, and Tron Ares in recent years. That being said, Reznor recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s “taking the inspiration we’ve garnered [from films] and finneling it into a new Nine Inch Nails project.” He also stated that he’s “ready to be back in the driver’s seat” with the band, which is more than enough for us!
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, Nine Inch Nails are industrial rock legends who have sold more than 30 million albums and won two Grammy Awards, among other things!
