The Killers 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

The Killers have seven new concerts coming up in early 2023! The chart-topping alternative rock group will kick off on March 16th in Atlantic City, NJ, making stops in Uncasville, CT, Pittsburgh, PA, and Durant, OK, before concluding on the 25th in Houston, TX.

The Las Vegas, NV-based band is continuing to support their seventh album, Pressure Machine, released last summer. As a concept album told by the townspeople of singer Brandon Flower’s hometown of Nephi, UT, it’s a very personal record for not just him but all those involved. Longtime fans loved the band’s switch from indie and alternative to pure Americana and heartland rock, as evidenced by new songs like “Runaway Horses” with Phoebe Bridgers!

While the band is known for their Las Vegas roots, including sparkling attire and flashy singles like “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me” in the 2000s, Flowers has a special place in his musical catalog and heart for Nephi, and the pandemic allowed him to pour his heart onto the page. Rolling Stone describes Pressure Machine as a “concept record about life in Nephi told from the perspective of various townspeople.” The publication also states that it “touches on everything from prescription drug abuse and poverty to crime, homophobia, and depression.”

This may sound depressing at first, but trust us when we say that you’ll be proud of how far Flowers has come since he was a Utah kid in the 1990s. The Killers began taking a more folk-rock turn with their sixth album, 2020’s Imploding the Mirage, although the synthpop-laced project was more of a warm-up than a full ride into Americana. Pressure Machine, however, takes a big turn into heartland territory. 

These Americana tracks are everything, with songs like “Quiet Town,” “Terrible Thing,” and “Pressure Machine” making a statement at every Killers concert. Thousands of people flocked to their first pre-pandemic shows last year, but now the band is ready for more!
