Shinedown 2023 Tour Announcement – The Revolution’s Live Tour Schedule

Shinedown has announced “The Revolution’s Live Tour” alongside Three Days Grace and From Ashes to New! The rock band will begin on April 3rd in Saginaw, MI, making 20+ stops before concluding on May 9th in Portland, OR.

There have been several top-selling Shinedown tours over the past few years, with each one better than the last. After hitting the road with fellow rock stars like Pop Evil, Diamante, and The Pretty Reckless, they’re now performing alongside their longtime friends in Three Days Grace, and Shinedown is just as excited as we are. Fun fact: they set the record for the most No. 1 songs on Mainstream rock radio last year with their single “Daylight,” which was formerly held by their tourmates Three Days Grace. Obviously, there are no hard feelings, and the two groups are destined to deliver some of the most epic rock concerts of 2023. 

Shinedown continues to support their seventh album, 2022’s Planet Zero, which marked their first record in four years and a grand comeback for Brent Smith and his bandmates. Featuring singles like “Dead Don’t Die,” “Daylight,” and the titular track, they’ve continued to evolve their signature hard rock sound that you’ve known and loved for over two decades. The lyrics are as deep as ever, dealing with topics like cancel culture, mental health, and addiction to social media. At the same time, the music goes back and forth between softer Southern rock and alternative metal.

“It’s the reflection of what you just went through,” Smith told GRAMMY.com about Planet Zero, which also marked Shinedown’s entrance into concept album territory. “We’re really talking to those forces that divide us — forces in government, forces in media, forces in Big Tech,” he explains. “We’re saying, ‘Is this what you wanted? For us to be at each other’s throats?'” It’s a brutally honest post-pandemic album that’s put things into perspective for the band, and they’ve never been shy about speaking their minds through songs. Remember their biggest opinionated hits like “Call Me,” “Second Chance,” “Simple Man,” and “45?” They’ll all be present on the setlist at this Shinedown tour, plus newer Planet Zero tracks that take you to another world.
