Eric Clapton is bringing a small-but-mighty run of U.S. tour dates our way, beginning on September 6 in Detroit, MI. He’ll make stops in Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Kansas City before finishing on the 17th in Kansas City, MO. His friend and fellow blues great, Jimmie Vaughan, will join him at all shows.

When it comes to the title of the guitar god, a lot of names come to mind. Santana. Slash. Joe Beck. But no list would be complete without Eric Clapton. His catchy riffs, chord voicings, and versatile skills on the strings have been praised for over six decades now — and he’s somehow in his prime at the age of 80.
