Red Hot Chili Peppers 2022 Tour Announcement – World Tour Schedule
Red Hot Chili Peppers are heading on a massive world tour in 2022, and we can’t wait to see the legendary rock band! The group will begin their trek on July 23rd in Denver, CO, and make stops in Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, Miami, FL, and more before ending on September 18th in Arlington, TX.
There have been plenty of fun concert announcements in 2021 as live music makes its return, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers tour might just top the list. The quartet made a faux news broadcast in which they dressed up in sweater vests before announcing dozens of concerts, both in the US and Europe. They’ll be playing all the major cities and supported by major acts like Thundercat, Beck, Haim, The Strokes, Thundercat, and more on select dates… making it one of the best news broadcasts we’ve ever seen.
Was it odd to see singer Anthony Keidis in a fake mustache and tie when we’re used to seeing him perform shirtless? A bit, but it just reminds you that the funk-rock group knows how to have fun. A Red Hot Chili Peppers concert is one of the most exciting shows you’ll attend in 2022, with the group performing all their best alt-rock and funk hits from the past four decades as fans dance along. “Californication,” “Dark Necessities,” “Give it Away,” and more are just the beginning!
Combining rap and rock is nothing to be surprised about in 2021, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been doing it since 1983. The band’s eleven studio albums combine alternative rock, funk, and rap, earning them a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and many “Greatest Albums of All Time” lists.
Keidis has even suggested that Red Hot Chili Peppers have inspired other rap-rock artists from the 2000s like Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Kid Rock… all of whom were around long before Machine Gun Kelly went from rapper to rocker. This Red Hot Chili Peppers tour is one of the most anticipated of 2022 due to the band’s incredible legacy and action-packed live shows, and you don’t want to miss the chance to see the original rap-rock group.
Our best recommendation? See a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Los Angeles, CA. It’s the band’s home, after all, and if you couldn’t tell from their Californication album and frequent lyrics about the Golden State, it’s practically home base for Anthony Keidis and co. That being said, you can expect an incredible show wherever you go, and you can now get tickets for the following Red Hot Chili Peppers concerts!
