Power Trip Music Festival kicks off on Friday with performances by Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden, and that’s just the beginning of what could easily be called the “Headbangers Ball.” AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne will overtake the Saturday stage, while the final night delivers a dose of Metallica and Tool. It’s not every day that the world’s biggest rock stars are in the same vicinity, let alone playing together over one weekend, so what are you waiting for?

This event is a very late sequel to the 2016 mega-concert in Indo called “Desert Trip,” which featured performances by The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and more. This time, they’re swapping out the acoustic guitars for electric and making the desert ground shake with the world’s greatest hard rock hits. And we’re 100% here for it. From performances of “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC to “Sober” by Tool, the Power Trip Music Festival will be a weekend of one iconic rock hit after another.
Most legendary rock bands have already indulged their fans with post-pandemic tours, including Guns N’ Roses and Metallica, who are slated for headlining treks later in 2023. However, we were amazed to see Ozzy Osbourne himself on the lineup! Due to health issues and familial obligations, the “Prince of Darkness” hasn’t played a full concert in nearly half a decade. But he’s coming out of retirement to summon his most excellent solo and Black Sabbath songs…all in the middle of the Indio desert. Can you get any more rock and roll than that?
