Pantera 2023 Tour Announcement – Reunion Tour Schedule
One of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time is going back on the road, and you can’t miss the Pantera tour! Joined by Lamb of God, the rock giants will begin on July 13th in Cadott, WI, continuing through November 10th in Detroit, MI. They’ll also make appearances at music festivals like Welcome to Rockville on May 20th in Daytona Beach, FL, and Inkcarceration in Mansfield, OH, on July 15th!

First things first, this will be the first Pantera tour in over twenty years. While brothers and Pantera co-founders Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell have both passed away, the surviving members have gotten the green light for a reunion tour unlike any other. And we know that Rex Brown, Philip Anselmo, Charlie Benante, and Zakk Wylde will put on a heavy metal extravaganza that will go down in history. If you thought that Pantera concerts were crazy in the 1990s, how much better will they get with the high-tech stage lights and backdrops of the 2020s? We can’t wait to find out.
The band has a catalog of nine albums and countless heavy metal hits to choose from, and we’re already taking bets on the setlist. Will they play “Cemetery Gates,” “Psycho Holiday,” and the titular track from their 1990 album Cowboys From Hell, which brought thrash elements into their (at the time) glam metal sound? Or will there be tracks from their “swan song” album, 2000’s Reinventing the Steel, released just a year before they went off the grid? We’re betting all of the above, but there’s no telling what they have in store for this Pantera tour.
Their hardcore-meets-thrash metal sound has made Pantera one of the century’s best heavy metal bands, inspiring countless other groups. Without them, there may have been no Korn or Godsmack! We’re eternally grateful for Pantera’s contributions to the genre in the 80s and 90s, but we can’t wait to see what they have planned for a new generation of heavy metal fans.
