New Found Glory 2023 Tour Announcement – Make the Most of It Acoustic Tour Schedule
New Found Glory has announced the “Make the Most of It tour” for early 2023, an acoustic trek that slows down some of their best pop-punk hits! These New Found Glory concerts will kick off on January 28th in St. Louis, MO, making 21 stops before finishing up on March 22nd in Orlando, FL.
“We are very excited to announce the Make The Most Of It Acoustic Tour! Although, just calling it an acoustic doesn’t do it justice,” New Found Glory wrote on Instagram, “Usually, acoustic makes a tour seem less, but for us, this is more.” “The kind of show we are putting together, the set and songs we will be playing, and most of these venues are theaters that we’ve never played before,” they continued. “This is very exciting and even challenging for us doing a tour as we’ve never done before. We are excited to play so many of the songs that you might yell from the back of the normal venues that just don’t fit in with the rowdy sets! We can’t wait to share this unique experience with you all. Definitely gonna Make The Most Of It!”
Anybody who attended the summer 2022 New Found Glory tour knows all about the “rowdy” sets they’re referring to. The band was celebrating the 20th anniversary of their beloved album, Sticks and Stones, which included bops like “Head On Collision” and “My Friends Over You” that inspired a new generation of pop-punkers. As much as they love seeing their fans fist-pump along to their most upbeat tracks, they also like to slow things down a bit with some more niche songs. And that’s precisely what band members Jordan Pundick, Chad Gilbert, Ian Grushka, and Cyrus Bolooki will do at these acoustic New Found Glory concerts.
Of course, there are also a few all-new tracks to look forward to! Their upcoming twelfth record inspires the name of this New Found Glory tour, Make the Most of It, which features seven new songs and seven fan favorites in acoustic form. It’s undoubtedly more somber in tone than their previous projects, with much of the record produced after guitarist Gilbert’s cancer diagnosis last year, but they’re, well, “making the most of it” with these relatable tunes. Fans can cry, laugh, sing along, and everything in between on New Found Glory’s first acoustic album and tour, and they can’t wait to take you along for the ride.
