Mitski 2022 Tour Announcement – Laurel Hell Tour Schedule
Mitski is soon heading on the Laurel Hell tour, named for her upcoming sixth album released on February 4th. You can see the Japanese singer beginning February 17th in Asheville, NC, with stops in several major cities before concluding on March 31st in Nashville, TN.
Fans have anxiously awaited the follow-up to 2018’s Be the Cowboy, which garnered critical acclaim and was named the album of the year by top publications like Pitchfork and Vulture. Of course, they also had a few questions. Would Mitski return to the piano that softened her indie-punk-pop sound? Or incorporate a bit of EDM like so many other rock artists these days? How about bringing in a few notable guest stars? These questions and more will be answered on February 4th with Laurel Hell.
Listeners have loved what they’ve heard so far, which includes the new singles “Working For the Knife” and “The Only Heartbreaker.” Both tracks put Mitski’s magnificent voice on display as it builds upon electro-rock riffs and heartfelt lyrics, and can only imagine how dreamy the rest of the record will be! Luckily, it’s not long after Laurel Hell is released that this Mitski tour begins, as she plays these songs for the first time to both energized and emotional crowds.
She may have taken a three-year hiatus after her 2018 release, but Mitski is back and bigger than ever. Her new songs are topping both the Billboard charts and must-hear lists of the world’s biggest music publications, both in the US and her native Japan, and she’s even booked a much-coveted slot as a supporting act on the UK leg of Harry Styles’ Love on Tour. Mitski will be sharing her talent with thousands of people in 2022, and she hopes you’ll be one of them!
