Country superstar Miranda Lambert is coming to a city near you with her upcoming tour, and it’s likely going to be a bit more low-key than fans are used to. This Miranda Lambert tour supports her 2021 acoustic album, The Marfa Tapes, and runs from July 17th in Belmont, OH to November 14th in Ridgefield, WA.
Miranda Lambert tours are generally loud, basically sold out, and packed with “honky tonk hits.” Though, while you can certainly expect to hear a few chart-topping Miranda Lambert songs from the singer’s two-decade career as a country superstar, you may hear them in a different way.

Released in May 2021, The Marfa Tapes was recorded alongside Lambert’s longtime friends Jon Randall and Jack Ingram. The three relocated to Marfa, Texas at the end of 2020 with just microphones and acoustic guitars, and produced an unfiltered masterpiece that features off-the-record conversations, desert sounds, and friendly rapport between the 15 tracks.
The tracks are a mix of both old and new songs from the artist, each an acoustic production that comes from the heart. Simple yet powerful, critics applauded Lambert’s risky creative choice and the unpolished-yet-professional feel of The Marfa Tapes. These songs were produced in the desert, yet still sound just as at-home in the arena… producing the homey vibes and relatable experiences often found in Lambert’s lyrics.
