In This Moment 2021 Tour Announcement – In-Between Tour Schedule
In This Moment recently began the In-Between tour with Black Veil Brides, and it’s going to be one of the biggest rock tours of 2021! The two alt-metal bands started performing together on September 17th in Lincoln, NE, and will continue through November 21st in Atlanta, GA.
“We are elated and excited for the upcoming ‘The In-Between Tour’ with Black Veil Brides, DED, and Raven Black,” In This Moment said in a statement. “This tour has been a long time coming, and we’ve all been so patient and through so much. As a result, it will be one of the most exciting and exhilarating tours of our life. We can’t wait to see all of you. Let’s make some memories we’ll never forget.”
This tour was initially meant to embark in March 2020, coinciding with In This Moment’s seventh album, Mother. While the pandemic sidelined the In-Between tour by a year and a half, the lineup of legendary metal bands will bring all the energy, nostalgia, and sick guitar riffs to a stadium near you.
The In-Between tour is a mini-reunion for metalheads and former emo kids – both of whom likely had In This Moment and Black Veil Brides posters on their bedroom walls in the 2010s. The two Los Angeles-based bands go way back – sharing the stage at festivals like Ozzfest and Warped Tour along with love for glam metal and gothic attire. A co-headlining tour was inevitable and only one of the exciting collaborations between In This Moment and Black Veil Brides.
In 2020, lead singers Maria Brink (In This Moment) and Andy Biersack (Black Veil Brides) came together for the song “Meet Me in the Fire” – featured on the soundtrack for DC Comics’ Dark Nights: Death Metal miniseries. With both musicians being extreme comic book fans, this endeavor was a dream come true… and we can only hope that Brink and Biersack will play it together on this In This Moment tour.
Along with “Meet Me in the Fire,” fans can also expect to hear the songs from Mother played live for the first time. “The In-Between,” “As Above, So Below,” “Hunting Grounds,” and more from In This Moment’s seventh record will be mixed in with metal hits from the band’s sixteen-year career… and we can’t wait to see them share the stage with fellow glam rock icons Black Veil Brides!
