Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin 2021 Tour – US Tour Schedule
Enrique Iglesias begins his co-headlining tour with Ricky Martin this fall, and it’s going to be quite the fiesta! The two Latin pop icons will begin performances on September 25th in Las Vegas, NV, and visit 26 cities before wrapping up on November 20th in Anaheim, CA.
“To say we are going on tour has lifted all of our spirits after the profoundly difficult year the world has gone through and still is,” Martin said in a statement. “Myself and my entire crew are very excited to bring our best live show safely all over the U.S. and Canada, and let the music bring the healing power and happiness that we all need.”
This Enrique Iglesias tour was initially announced in early 2020 before it was postponed due to the pandemic. Fans were disappointed about waiting to see the man who has made a mark on Latin pop – evidenced by eleven hit albums and Billboard naming him the “Top Latin Artist of All Time” in 2016. But safety is of the utmost importance to these two chart-topping artists, and you can rest easy amongst a vaccinated crowd this fall.
Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin are both often called by a specific honorific title: King of Latin Pop. While some artists would be competitive, the two men choose to celebrate instead! Not only are they touring together, but they also did a recent Instagram Live (with opening act Sebastián Yatra) that discussed the upcoming tour and their incredible careers.
This live stream brought some bittersweet news – that Iglesias’s 2021 album Final may be his last. “I’m in that moment in my life, that chapter in my life, where I think it’s the right time to put it out,” he told his co-headliner, “and I’ve been thinking about this since 2015.”
Will Iglesias continue touring even without releasing new material? Is this going to be his final tour for a while, as well? We have no answers as of now, but one thing is for certain: this co-headlining tour between Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin is a must-see for any fan of Latin pop.
