Asking Alexandria and The HU 2023 Tour Announcement – Psycho Thunder Tour Schedule
Asking Alexandria and The HU are coming together for the “Psycho Thunder Tour” in the fall of 2023! The two rock bands will begin on August 30th in San Antonio, TX, continuing through October 8th in Los Angeles, CA.
Two worlds are coming together for the Psycho Thunder tour…literally. Asking Alexandria derived from York, England while The HU hails from Mongolia! And when you add the US into the mix, it’s destined to be a worldly, headbang-worthy night for American fans. Both groups are celebrating new releases, and they can’t wait to start a circle pit at some of the country’s best venues.
Asking Alexandria are set to release their eighth album, Where Do We Go From Here?, in the fall, a follow-up to 2021’s See What’s On the Inside. And if new songs like “Psycho” and “Bad Blood” are anything to go by, we’re in for one of their most epic releases yet! Since their 2006 formation, the metalcore group have gone from emo icons to hard rock heavyweights to back again. And this time we’re getting something different entirely from Asking Alexandria.
Believe it or not, we’re not even talking about lead singer Danny Worsnop’s detour into the country music space. Asking Alexandria is the latest group from the emo crowd to incorporate dance and electronica into their music, following in the footsteps of Bring Me The Horizon, and we like what we hear! Just listen to “Psycho,” a fresh and funky track that will take you to another world entirely.
But if you’re in the mood for the metalcore you know and love, have no fear… as their other tracks can transport you right back to the 2012 Warped Tour! Asking Alexandra has achieved a harmonious balance with their music that appeases both old and new fans. Whether you’re craving some new tunes or just want to mosh along to the classics like “Alone in a Room,” “A Prophecy,” or “Moving On!” They’re going to start every night on tour with a bang, with is only amplified by The HU.
Your favorite Mongolian folk rock act is a little softer in sound than Asking Alexandria, but don’t think that they have the entire venue pumping their fists! They’ve just released their sophomore album, 2022’s Rumble of Thunder, which features some A-list guest stars and more sensational choruses than you count. Just take a listen to “Black Thunder,” featuring Serj Tankian of System of A Down, which helps you understand why The HU has become one of rock’s biggest acts since 2016.
There’s also “This Is Mongol,” “Bii Biyelgee,” “Wolf Totem,” and more standout tracks to show you what Mongolian rock is all about! The HU repped their home country with pride on their 2019 debut, The Gereg, and have only gotten better as the years pass. They played Coachella this year and are slated to also perform at Aftershock, but they had to make time for a joint tour with their friends in Asking Alexandria. And you can bet that this will be one of the most otherworldly and epic rock tours of 2023.
