Vince Staples 2026 Tour Announcement – Cry Baby Tour Schedule
Vince Staples is bringing Cry Baby to the stage with a full band, which should tell you right away that this isn’t your standard rap tour. The Long Beach rapper will kick off his 16-date North American run on October 19 in Atlanta before heading through Houston, Austin, Dallas, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco and more. The tour wraps November 15 at The Warfield in San Francisco.
The “Cry Baby Tour” supports Staples’ new album of the same name, released through Loma Vista earlier this month. And if you’ve heard tracks like “Blackberry Marmalade,” “White Flag” and “Cotton,” you already know this chapter is coming in louder, stronger, and even more political than usual. These tracks mesh standard hip-hop with rock and punk elements for even more edge…while the album’s visuals are just as fearless.
The album cover features a crying baby in an American flag diaper, while the music video for “Blackberry Marmalade” (now at 1M views) features POV footage of a mass shooting that made viewers gasp. It was shocking, but also necessary in Staples’ musical world. He’s never been interested in making easy music for passive listening, which was made obvious with his last record, 2024’s aptly-named Dark Times.
Even when the beat is catchy or the hook gets stuck in your head, there’s usually something darker (pun intended) sitting underneath it — a point about violence, survival, race, politics, media, or the way people consume tragedy like entertainment. Cry Baby seems to push that even further, using heavier sounds and uncomfortable visuals to make sure nobody misses the message. Vince Staples working through a punk verse isn’t something we expected in the 2020s, but it’s very much welcomed.
And this genre-bending is precisely why a full-band setup makes so much sense. Staples already previewed this new live approach with Los Angeles warmup shows and a Bonnaroo appearance, showing off the rock and punk vibes of Cry Baby instead of simply performing the songs over tracks. For fans, that means the 2026 Vince Staples tour could give similar energy to a 1980s Sunset Strip club show, while also not abandoning the hip-hop bangers that made him famous.
Consequence calls Cry Baby a “cry for revolution,” while NME compliments the record’s “sense of rough anti-establishment energy and passionate political expression that most rappers of Staples’ position would struggle to authentically muster.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, and can’t wait to see the phenomenon that is Vince Staples as he performs these new tracks.
