Alice in Chains 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Alice in Chains has announced some headlining shows…taking place alongside their opening stint on the Guns N’ Roses tour! The 90s grunge heroes will begin on September 23rd in Kansas City, MO, making over a dozen stops before concluding on October 16th in Vancouver, BC.

There’s been a constant stream of Alice in Chain concerts over the past couple of years, and our grunge-loving hearts can’t get enough. After rocking out all last summer on a headlining trek with Bush and Breaking Benjamin, they decided to spend this year opening for Axl Rose and Co. But don’t worry, they haven’t forgotten about those hoping to see them in smaller venues rather than stadiums.

Diehard fans can see Alice in Chains up close at House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, Bakkt Theater in Las Vegas, NV, and plenty more intimate venues! Of course, the level of grunge mastery will still be through the roof, no matter the size of the stage. You can expect to hear all the best Alice in Chains songs, like “Nutshell,” “No Excuses,” and “Check My Brain.” AKA, all the hard rock essentials that established them as one of the best 90s grunge bands alongside Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam.

However, it’s safe to say that the legacy of Alice in Chains has stood the test of time. Their six albums have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide, while they’ve received eleven Grammy nominations and so much more. Their live performances are also legendary, with Jerry Cantrell showing off his incredible guitar skills through a flurry of raging riffs, harmonized vocals, and headbang-worthy choruses.

There’s been no word on whether or not we’ll receive a follow-up to the sixth and latest Alice in Chains album, 2018’s Rainier Fog, which singer William DuVall touched on in a recent interview. “I would suppose there will be new music coming soon,” he told 105.5 WDHA. “There’s no plans in the offing right now, because we’re all kind of doing other things. But inevitably it seems to kind of circle back.”
