Aerosmith 2023 Tour Announcement – Peace Out Farewell Tour Schedule
Prepare to “Walk This Way” toward the final Aerosmith tour! The iconic rock band has announced dates for their farewell trek, dubbed the “Peace Out tour.” Joined by The Black Crowes, they’ll begin on September 2nd in Philadelphia, PA, making 40 stops before concluding on January 26th, 2024, in Montreal, QC.

“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way; you’re going to get the best show of our lives,” Aerosmith said in a joint statement. It’s hard for any rock fan to imagine a world without Steven Tyler and his bandmates. They’ve owned the stage for half a century with hits like “Dream On,” “Cryin’,” “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” and, of course, “Walk This Way!” But there comes a time in every rock star’s life when he must hang up his tight leather pants and stage makeup. And much like KISS and Foreigner before them, the final Aerosmith tour will let the band go out with a bang.

While the news of this being the final set of Aerosmith concerts, ever, comes as a shock… people have had suspicions for a good while that the band was up to something. They had a countdown clock, without context, on the official Aerosmith website. Meanwhile, promotional banners kept popping up at some of the biggest US venues. And then there’s a certain blunt statement from founding member and lead guitarist Joe Perry, which took place when he was interviewed by 102.3 WBAB radio earlier this month.
“I don’t know if I’m not supposed to announce it or not, but we are gonna announce the tour, and it’s gonna start in September and will go into next year,” Perry confessed. “And being one of the guys who vote on this kind of thing, it looks like we’re gonna do it.” While they wrapped up their “Deuces Are Wild” Las Vegas residency last year, it’s been nearly five years since the last full-blown Aerosmith tour. So, needless to say, fans were thrilled! Are we going to miss hearing Steven Tyler’s epic high notes and Perry’s mind-blowing guitar solos in the flesh? Yes, but you can bet they’ll be putting every last ounce of energy into the final Aerosmith concerts ever.
Sadly, drummer Joey Kramer will be absent from the farewell Aerosmith tour due to familial and health obligations. However, the rest of the original group will be there to rock out one last time. Are you ready to scream “Dream On” at the top of your lungs or dance along to “Dude Looks Like A Lady” with as much prowess as Robin Williams did in 1993’s Mrs. Doubtfire? We’ll see you at the show, as Aerosmith tickets are available soon!
