At the beginning of Cirque Spirit of Christmas, Noel is disillusioned by the commercial frenzy of Christmas. She doesn’t understand why the grown-ups around her are losing their minds over holiday shopping and light contests, and wishes to reconnect with the festive spirit she once had. That dream comes to fruition as she’s visited by a few seasonal characters…ones much more flexible, festive, and friendly than the ghosts visited by Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.
A Toymaker, Sugar Plum Fairy, wooden soldier and more take the stage as they reinstate the magic of the holidays in Noel. And simultaneously, inspire a wave of holiday awe within the audience.
