Where to See Phish in 2023-2024

Phish has two residencies planned for the coming months, and they’re unlike anything the jam band has done before! First, they’ll play five nights from December 28-31, at Madison Square Garden in New York City… ending 2023 on a psychedelic note. Additionally, they’ll perform four shows from April 18-21, 2024, at the all-new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, NV.

For those unfamiliar with The Sphere, this all-new venue is hailed as one of the most highly-technological performance spaces in the world. Featuring the highest-resolution LED screen on Earth, 10,000 vibrating seats, temperature control and cool breezes, and 164,000 speakers, only the cream of the crop can play there. And spoiler alert: Phish more than makes the cut.

“As Phish fans well know, in their forty years of being a band, Phish has never played the same show twice,” reads the Sphere website. “Each of Phish’s four shows at Sphere will feature completely unique setlists AND visuals, making every show a truly once-in-a-lifetime audio-visual experience.” Indeed, Phish is the mother of all jam bands that switches up their setlist, orchestral arrangements, and more each night.

For these Phish concerts at The Sphere, will they aim for more 1980s progressive rock or modern psychedelic and funk influences? Will they play your favorites from every decade like “You Enjoy Myself,” “The Mango Song,” and “First Tube” all in one night? These questions will only be answered when they play the first note in the world’s most advanced venue, and it will be a thrill for all 20,000 attendees.

Trey Anastasio and Co. are only the second band to play The Sphere, after U2.
