Underoath 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Underoath is touring in spring 2023! The metalcore outfit will kick off on March 3rd in Silver Spring, MD, making 23 stops before wrapping up on April 2nd in Nashville, TN.
“We dig Periphery and Loathe a ton, so we asked them if they wanted to do this. They said yes. 2023 is gonna be wild, and this is just the start,” the band wrote on the Underoath Instagram. “We’re working on new music (as always). Some songs are done. Some are close. Some have just gotten started,” they continued, “but we wanted to find a way to bring you inside that creative process.” How will the Florida-based Christian metal group do this, exactly? It’s only been a year since Underoath released their ninth album, Voyeurist, but they’ve always been one of the hardest-working bands in the alternative crowd. They graced the stage with new songs like “Pneumonia,” “Damn Excuses,” “Hallelujah,” and more at dozens of 2022 Underoath concerts, including an appearance at the emo-approved When We Were Young Fest. And believe it or not, that’s just the beginning for Spencer Chamberlain and his bandmates. They’ll be debuting unreleased songs both at their VIP listening parties and on the stage, plus wowing the crowds with older favorites that you’ve loved for over a decade.
Can you believe that it’s been seventeen years since Underoath released the songs “Writing on the Walls” and “You’re Ever So Inviting” from their 2006 album, Define the Great Line? It was the record that helped establish them as emo darlings and regulars on the Warped Tour and more, but they’ve shown no signs of slowing down since. They remain one of the most prominent metalcore groups in the scene with plenty of later 2000s hits, which you’ll hear on this Underoath tour as a celebration of a quarter century together.
