Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2026 Tour Announcement – The Ghosts of Christmas Eve Tour Schedule

‘Tis the season for a rock opera! Trans-Siberian Orchestra has released dates for the 30th anniversary of “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve Tour,” now budget-friendly and ready to be enjoyed by the family. They’ll begin on November 19 in Green Bay, visiting cities like Cincinnati. Youngstown, Wilkes-Barre, Boise, Nashville, Charleston and more before finishing up on December 30 in St. Louis.

“Thirty years in, we never take a single person in that audience for granted,” said guitarist and music director Al Pitrelli. “With the economy the way that it is right now, it shouldn’t be a mortgage payment for a family to come out to see us. Paul O’Neill [TSO’s late lyricist & composer] was very adamant about giving people in the audience more ‘show’ than they could’ve even imagined, and that’s what we do every year.”

While it’s been nearly a decade since the passing of Trans-Siberian Orchestra mastermind Paul O’Neill, his bandmates have taken every measure to keep his legacy alive. These celestial light shows are accompanied by plenty of seasonal surprises and your favorite holiday hits with a metal twist. Do “Carol of the Bells,” “What Child is This,” and “Winter Palace” ring a bell, pun intended? Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts have added edge to the Christmas season for over three decades now, and they show no signs of slowing down.

“We reimagine the show, we rebuild it, we make it bigger than last year so people come back again,” Pitrelli continues. “I want you to look and go, ‘Oh my God, they outdid themselves one more time!’ We want to make sure you guys can come out and celebrate because you and everyone in that audience are the greatest fans in the world.” And the best part? Even in an uncertain world, they’re still ensuring that everyone has a little rock and roll Christmas spirit in their lives. These discounted tickets are a gift to all, and we can’t thank them enough for it.

That fan-first approach has always been part of what makes Trans-Siberian Orchestra feel more sensational than a standard holiday concert. Yes, you’re getting lasers, fire, towering screens, insane guitar solos, and enough Christmas drama to make your local tree lighting look a little scrawny. But underneath all the spectacle is the reason people keep coming back: these shows feel like a full seasonal event. It’s the rare concert where metalheads, parents, grandparents, theater kids, and kids seeing their first big arena show can all look around and bask in the joy of a heavier version of “Carol of the Bells.”

And that legacy didn’t happen overnight. Based on the 1999 TV film of the same name, the annual Ghosts of Christmas Eve tour is as badass as it sounds. Trans-Siberian Orchestra took Christmas music — something that could have easily stayed soft, sleepy, and background-friendly — and turned it into a full-blown rock experience without losing the emotion behind it. Add in the cinematic edge, the over-the-top production, and the fact that these shows keep evolving year after year, and it’s easy to see why TSO has become its own holiday tradition.
