The Lumineers 2023 Tour Announcement – Brightside Tour Schedule
Looking forward to a folk-filled fall with The Lumineers? The indie-folk duo is heading on the encore “Brightside tour” later this year, beginning August 16th in Bangor, ME, and continuing through September 12th in Santa Barbara, CA.
The Lumineers, consisting of Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, gained critical acclaim when they hit the road on their “Brightside tour” last year after two years away. Fans had a blast singing along to classic hits and new songs from their fourth and latest album, Brightside. Therefore, the band couldn’t say no when people requested they extend the trek and play their entire fifteen-year folk-rock catalog to the fullest. And let’s just say that we love them for it.
New singles like “Big Shot,” “A.M. Radio,” and the titular track have all been climbing the charts since the album’s January 2022 release. In fact, “Brightside” made history when it reached No. 1 on Billboard’s “Alternative National Airplay” and “Adult Alternative Airplay” charts – becoming the sixth The Lumineers song atop the latter ranking in less than a decade. This joins the already-impressive list of the band’s accolades, including two Grammy nominations and millions of albums sold, but the music keeps fans coming back for more.
The band also celebrated the ten-year anniversary of their self-titled debut album last year, which includes cult favorites like “Ho Hey,” “Stubborn Love,” and “Submarines.” The Lumineers have long been credited with helping to revive the modern indie folk and Americana scenes after a few years away, both of which are absolutely thriving today.
