Dierks Bentley 2023 Tour Announcement – Gravel & Gold Tour Schedule
Dierks Bentley has announced the “Gravel & Gold tour” for summer 2023, taking the country music megastar to 28 cities! Joined by A-list openers like Jordan Davis, Elle King, Tracy Lawrence, and more, he’ll kick off on June 1st in Toronto, ON, continuing through August 26th in Auburn, WA.
“I’ve been waiting as patiently as possible for the time when we could tell our fans about this tour, and I’m happy the moment has arrived,” Bentley said in a statement. “With new music, a whole new set and vibe along with incredible musicians and singers to share the stage with…I can honestly say I think this will be our best tour ever.” “Jordan Davis and I have been talking about touring for a long time, and he’s just killing it,” he continued. “Not to mention, the list of artists that we will be touring with is so exciting for me as a fan of all their music. I will be side stage every night, taking it all in alongside the fans on this GRAVEL & GOLD TOUR.”
If you attended last summer’s Dierks Bentley tour, the top-selling “Beers on Me” trek, you know that he can heat up the season unlike any other. The country crooner loves sipping a drink onstage as he works through hits like “Drunk on a Plane,” “What Was I Thinkin’,” and “I Hold On”! That’s just the beginning of Bentley’s 20-year catalog, which now includes ten albums plus eighteen No. 1 singles and counting. You may have heard that he released his latest album, Gravel & Gold, in early 2023, which he can’t wait to perform in front of crowds for the first time.
Marking his first album in nearly five years, Gravel & Gold is a major triumph for the Arizona-born singer. New songs like “High Note,” “Beer At My Funeral,” and “All the Right Places” blend Bentley’s smooth vocals with his traditional country-meets-bluegrass sound. Additionally, the themes tackle his favorite pastimes of drinking with friends, hanging out on mountain tops, and more, plus a few deeper cuts courtesy of his quarantine getaway in 2020.
“The idea that, ‘It might be gravel, but it feels like gold’—that it’s all about your perspective—is something that I wouldn’t have gotten had I not left for a year,” Bentley told Music Row. He’s referring to his decision to leave Nashville for Colorado during the pandemic, which resulted in a newfound “attitude for gratitude.” “Being free to explore, live and make new memories, my brain would just come up with ideas,” Bentley says, “So when I came back to Nashville after living in [Colorado] for a year, I had a lot of ideas.”
“This third time around, it was about taking all of the experiences from being off the road and taking the experiences from those first two times in the studio,” he continued, “Everything came together, and [I] knew right away this was feeling like the right vibe for the album.” “Vibe” is certainly the proper world for Gravel & Gold, which marks a new era for Dierks Bentley. Yes, you had a blast on last year’s summer tour… but this one will be filled with new tunes, new friends, and new ways to enjoy one of country music’s biggest stars!
