The Eagles have extended their “Hotel California tour,” with the world-famous rock band visiting 6 Canadian cities. They’ll kick off on September 9th in Toronto, ON, and continue through the 22nd in Vancouver, BC.
The Hotel California tour kicked off last summer and quickly became one of the biggest musical expeditions of 2022. Eagles played their hit 1976 album in its entirety, including the titular track that’s become a pop culture phenomenon, and performed for every generation of fans that can’t get enough of their soft rock hits. Hotel California is Eagle’s fifth album that opened up a new era for the rock band. Sure. But this quote represents the magnitude of Eagles and their profound understanding of pop culture as we know it… even nearly fifty years ago.
The band has gone through its fair share of trauma, including several hiatuses and the devastating death of founding member Glenn Frey in 2016.
