Glass Animals 2022 Tour Announcement – Dreamland Tour Schedule
There are still a few weeks left to see a Glass Animals concert! The indie pop-rock group will next perform on July 28th in Nashville, TN, with stops in Toronto, ON, and Cincinnati, OH, before concluding on August 9th in Brooklyn, NY.
The group began their “Dreamland tour” last summer to support their third album of the same name. And needless to say, they’ve had the time of their lives. They regularly post on the Glass Animals Instagram about how excited they are to visit the next city, along with personal anecdotes about being grateful they’re performing in front of a crowd once again. Since Dreamland was released in summer 2020, it was denied a proper set of performances due to the pandemic. However, they’re making up for it on this Glass Animals tour.
“Two and a half years ago, we put two shows on sale for the middle of June 2020 that we intended to use as the launch point for our third album, Dreamland,” the band wrote on Instagram in June 2022. “It was going to be all of our friends playing with us, all of our family joining us, and all of you coming to hear the album for the first time.”
“One pandemic and 2.5 years later, here we are at [Red Rocks Amphitheater] finally able to do these shows,” they continued. “And we will finally sing those words…late at night….in the middle of June. it will be the first time we’ve been able to do that since the song was released,” they concluded about their single “Heat Waves.” Fans have repeatedly listened to the track on TikTok for months, but playing the song live is a whole other beast. With more new songs on the setlist like “Tokyo Drifting,” “Your Love,” and “Dreamland,” these remaining Glass Animals concerts will be a night to remember.
With a strong set of electropop hits referencing 90s classics like Pikachu and Dr. Dre, Dreamland is every millennial’s dream. It’s a solid follow-up to 2016’s How to Be a Human that was well worth the wait, and you’ll have a psychedelic night of indie rock and electropop hits with tickets to this Glass Animals tour.
