The Doobie Brothers 2023 Tour Announcement – 50th Anniversary Tour Schedule
The Doobie Brothers have extended their 50th Anniversary tour once again, with 35 new dates across the US! The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will kick off on June 9th in Sparks, NV, continuing through October 8th in Atlantic City, NJ.
“We are thrilled to be back on the road in 2023, playing some cities we haven’t gotten to yet on this tour,” Doobie Brothers founder and lead vocalist Tom Johnston in a statement. For the fans who have waited decades to see them live once again, the feeling is definitely mutual! Johnston had a grand time last year performing with his friends and bandmates, including Pat Simmons, Michael McDonald, and John McFee. He’s not ready to hang up his guitar just yet, and can’t wait to visit new cities like Brandon, MS, Morristown, NJ, Madison, WI, and more.
This half-century celebration of The Doobie Brothers has been a long time coming, first announced in 2019 before it was postponed the following year. The trek has been extended several times since launching in 2021, and we can definitely understand why! All four original members of The Doobie Brothers played together again for the first time in decades, including Michael McDonald! The singer and keyboardist returned after a nearly 30-year-hiatus to perform alongside his old friends and be inducted with them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And he isn’t ready to step away from the stage with just yet.
Featuring the group’s signature blend of soft rock and blue-eyed soul, these Doobie Brothers concerts are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for music fans. Their half-century catalog of hits, including “Dependin’ on You,” “Eyes of Silver,” “Nobody,” and “Real Love” is simply matched. The four-time Grammy winners have made their mark on the genre along with music as a whole, and you can’t miss your chance to celebrate five decades of the Doobie Brothers. Get your tickets today!
