Nas and Wu-Tang Clan 2023 Tour Announcement – NY State of Mind Tour Schedule
Nas and Wu-Tang Clan have extended the “New York State of Mind tour” into the fall of 2023, taking the hip-hop heroes to dozens more cities! They’ll begin on September 20th in Nashville, TN, continuing through October 22nd in Highland, CA.
“The Saga Continues Worldwide! The #NewYorkStateofMindTour is back – coming to a stage near you,” Wu-Tang Clan wrote on Instagram alongside an official tour poster. Their 2 million followers expressed their excitement with comments — many stating how happy they were to finally see the rap superstars making their way to more cities. It may be called the New York State of Mind tour, but Wu-Tang Clan and Nas are taking these shows global! From Tampa, FL, and Toronto, ON, to Columbus, OH, and Las Vegas, NV, you’ll have plenty of chances to see these music megastars in action in 2023.
Last year’s edition of the trek was a major success, selling out in every city and being nominated for Pollstar’s 2022 Hip Hop Tour of the Year. Now they’re ready to do it all again, looking at even more smiling and singing faces in the crowd! Whether you’re a longtime fan that’s loved Nas and Wu-Tang Clan since the 1990s or just got into them in recent years, you’ll have the time of your life on the New York State of Mind tour.
These two New York-based artists need no introduction, as they’ve released top-charting rap singles for decades. Nas has countless No.1 singles and multiplatinum albums under his belt, while Wu-Tang Clan is commonly referred to as the greatest hip-hop group of all time. While they’ve never formally toured together, the artists have tons of history, and you can see it all firsthand at these performances.
Nas has collaborated with one, several, or all members of Wu-Tang Clan on many occasions, dating back to 1995’s “Verbal Intercourse” with Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. He also provided guest vocals on Wu-Tang Clan’s 2000 album The W, along with yet another Raekwon collaboration titled “Rich & Black” from his 2011 album Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. Nas even appeared in the 2019 documentary series, Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, talking about his yearslong friendship and collaboration with the musical masterminds.
