Tegan and Sara 2022 Tour Announcement – Crybaby Tour Schedule
Tegan and Sara are heading on the “Crybaby tour” in fall 2022, and the indie pop sister duo is dying to get back on the road. They’ll kick off these Tegan and Sara concerts on October 26th in Philadelphia, PA, and continue through November 20th in Vancouver, BC.
“Just wanna say we r so grateful to everybody who bought tickets and is gonna make it to this first tour of the crybaby era,” the duo wrote on the Tegan and Sara Instagram page. “‘This is just the first of many tours to get announced. We’ve been joking that we have to take baby steps. Get it? Cry baby? Baby steps?” They continued by promising that many more stops are coming your way and not to be too disappointed if you don’t see your city on the roster.
“I know many of you are sad not to see a city you live in or a city near you, but we promise there will be way more dates to come,” they said. “Mostly just wanted to come on and say how grateful we are to everyone showing so much support so early into the cycle. Crybaby is our 10th album, and it’s a special one, and we’re so thrilled at the enthusiasm.” Some may be surprised to hear the news of their tenth album, as it’s only been a few months since their last one, Still Jealous, was released in February 2022. However, the sisters have always been hustlers, and you’ll be just as in awe of their talents this October as you were decades ago.
That’s right; it’s been 23 years since their debut record, Under Feet Like Ours, established Tegan and Sara as one of the best indie rock acts of their time. And they’ve only gone up from there. They’ve toured with major artists like Weezer, Jack Johnson, the Black Keys, and The Killers, among many others. They’ve also made a statement with songs like “Where Does the Good Go,” “Walking With a Ghost,” and “I Know I Know I Know,” and served as inspiration for the LGBTQ community by openly coming out as lesbians early in their career.
