Tame Impala 2021 Tour Announcement – The Slow Rush Tour Schedule
Ready for a psychedelic show unlike any other artist in 2021? Tame Impala has announced the rescheduled dates for The Slow Rush Tour, in support of Kevin Parker’s 2020 album of the same name. These Tame Impala concerts begin on September 4th in Manchester, TN, and make 16 stops around the country before ending in Dallas in November.
Tame Impala has never done anything in the conventional sense, and Kevin Parker’s 2021 tour announcement was no exception. In June, the singer and founding member posted a mysterious teaser that seemed to be a mock pharmaceutical ad for a medicine called “Rushium.”

The background song was “Posthumous Forgiveness,” a track from Tame Impala’s 2020 release The Slow Rush, and ended with a message that “Phase 1 Clinical Trials Begin 09/2021.” With the 2021 Tame Impala tour starting in September, fans quickly came to the conclusion that this was simply an unorthodox tour announcement. Or perhaps something more? You never truly know with Kevin Parker.

He loves “the kind of music that is the result of one person constructing an awesome symphony of sound. The Slow Rush is Tame Impala’s fourth album, released in 2020 right before the COVID-19 pandemic went into full swing. This may have caused Parker’s summer tour to be cancelled, but he’s more than ready to return to the stage in 2021.
