Steely Dan 2021-2022 Tour Announcement – The Absolutely Normal Tour Schedule
Steely Dan has finally made it to the stage in 2021, and now is the time to see these soft rock superstars! You can next see them on October 29th in Philadelphia, PA, with rescheduled shows continuing all the way through August 2022.
After a series of postponements due to the pandemic, Steely Dan concerts are finally within reach. Donald Fagen and his backing band will be hitting all the major cities with their catalog of jazzy, soft-rock hits that dates back five decades. You can’t miss the group that Rolling Stone once called “the perfect musical antiheroes for the Seventies.”
It’s not just the band’s fiftieth anniversary that Steely Dan is celebrating in 2021, but also their live show that has developed a cult following over the years. Seriously, there hasn’t been a new Steely Dan album in almost 20 years… but Fagen still has no issue selling out stadiums!
Along with their first post-pandemic shows, Steely Dan is releasing the live album, Steely Dan – The Absolutely Normal Tour, in November. The setlist will feature all the classics like “Do It Again,” “Hey Nineteen,” and “Peg” and help you relive the exquisite experience of a Steely Dan concert over and over again.
Fagen has mixed feelings about performing as Steely Dan solo – as his friend and co-founder Walter Beck passed away in 2017. But he’s been touring on-and-off ever since, saying in a statement that he intended to “keep the music we created together alive as long as I can with the Steely Dan band.” He’s succeeded in a way that would make Beck proud, and this is evident at any Steely Dan concert.
You’ve had to wait a while to attend the Steely Dan tour, but the time is almost here! Check the tour schedule below and get your Steely Dan tickets now.
