Slash 2024 Tour Announcement – S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival Tour Schedule
Slash is taking the inaugural “S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival” on the road this summer! And the iconic guitarist is bringing all your favorite blues-rock artists with him. They’ll kick off on July 5th in Bonner, MT, continuing with a rotating lineup through August 17th in Grand Prairie, TX.
Joining Slash on the S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival tour — which is an acronym that translates to “Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Equality N’ Tolerance,” — is a talented and diverse range of artists. These include Warren Haynes, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Larkin Poe, Jackie Venson and more! Yes, they’re a little more country than rock and roll, especially compared to a famed guitarist and original Guns N’ Roses member like Slash. But have no fear, as these supporting acts are sure to match his glam metal energy each night.
In fact, this differing lineup was specially planned by Slash as he prepares to release a blues album, and fights back against the world’s long list of intolerances. “I thought it would be a great time, because of all of the divisions and whatnot happening in this country on a social level,” Slash says, “to try and bring some solidarity and acceptance and support different groups. I want to really sort of bring people together and make this a celebration of all different kinds of people and all kinds of different ways of thinking. I just thought that would be a good vehicle for that.”

The second that Slash, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee who’s name is mentioned on nearly every list of the world’s best guitarists, picks up his instrument, that’s when the magic happens. Especially in 2024 as he prepares to release his second solo album! Coming fourteen years after his self-titled solo debut, the 58-year-old is set to showcase Orgy of the Damned on May 17th. A collaboratives project with guest vocals from Gary Clark Jr., Chris Stapleton, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Iggy Pop, Demi Lovato and more, it’s a state-of-the-art mix of blues, rock, and country that’s unlike anything else.

Slash has never been shy about musical experimentation, ranging from his early days (and present gig) as a Guns N’ roses legend to side projects with artists from every genre under the sun. But what he’s doing with the S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival is something new entirely, and we wan’t wait to hear the blues-rock mashups he’s cooking up. Get your tickets to this Slash tour today!
