Shakey Graves 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Shakey Graves is currently on tour, and there’s still time to see the Austin-born singer play Americana hits! The next Shakey Graves concert takes place on September 20th in Indianapolis, IN, and goes on through December 29th in Chicago, IL.
“Pretty manic times, the highs of being back on the road have been awesome, the shows have been wonderful,” Graves wrote on Instagram in an authentic message to his fans. While he’s thrilled to be performing again after a year-and-a-half away, he’s also open about the struggles of navigating live music in a post-pandemic world.
“This has all been a wild puzzle with no concrete answers as of late,” he continued. “For now, I’m striving to make sure that both my fans and my band/crew feel as safe as they can while we travel and play, and I will continue to make decisions based on that.”
This Shakey Graves tour has been going smoothly so far, with the crowds going wild for the singer’s genre-fusing tracks. While his three studio albums and five EP’s are often described as Americana, they feature hints of folk, blues, rock, and country that pay homage to Grave’s hometown of Austin, TX.
Shakey Graves, born Alejandro Rose-Garcia, has played all the classic singles on this tour – including “Dearly Departed,” “Tomorrow,” and “Kids These Days.” He’s also playing tracks from his last release, 2020’s Look Alive EP, for the first time since before live music shut down. Or at least, the first time in front of a real-life crowd.
Rose-Garcia played several live-streamed concerts in 2020, including Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic and “Live From Quarantine,” which helped raise money for frontline responders. Graves raised significant funds, released new music, and gained a legion of new fans in 2020, all from the safe zone of his own home, which shows just how talented he truly is!
