Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band are regrouping for a spring 2023 tour along the West Coast, and it’s a grand time to see the former Beatles drummer! He’ll kick off on May 19th in Temecula, CA, making stops in Las Vegas, NV, Bend, OR, San Francisco, CA, and more before concluding in San Jose, CA.
“It’s a new year, and here are some new tour dates,” stated Starr. “I love playing with the All Starrs and can’t wait to be back out on the road again with this band. I send peace and love to you all, and we hope to see you out there.” Starr emerged from his yearslong performing hiatus just last year when he went on the road with his band, and he’s clearly not finished playing his greatest hits to packed crowds every night. These include some rare Beatles numbers along with the solo hits he’s been rolling out for decades, and you need to see the drummer (and singer, and songwriter, and expert showman) in action.
While Starr is perhaps most known as the Beatles’ drummer, the truth is that they only made up a small portion of his time in music. He reached worldwide fame with Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison in the early 1960s, occasionally contributing vocals to songs like “Yellow Submarine” and “With a Little Help From My Friends,” and stuck by them until their breakup in 1970. That’s the same year he released his debut solo album, Sentimental Journey, and he’s released twenty since…along with several EPs and singles in the 2020s.
In fact, Starr has come out with quite a few bops in the past few years, including “Here’s to the Nights” in late 2020. It features all kinds of A-list collaborators, including his longtime friend and former bandmate McCartney, along with Lenny Kravitz, Ben Harper, Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, and many more! He also released the EP, Change the World in 2021, featuring all-star collaborations (no pun intended) and his ever-present themes of peace and friendship. There may be a running joke that Ringo Starr is the most underrated Beatles member, but his long and highly successful career proves his popularity. And you can see it firsthand on this tour!
