Prince Royce 2022 Tour Announcement – Classic Tour Schedule
Prince Royce has announced the Classic tour for fall 2022, with 11 dates that support his greatest hits. The bachata star will kick off on September 16th in Miami, FL, with shows continuing through October 9th in Santa Barbara, CA.
“THAT’S CLASS RIGHT THERE!” Prince Royce, born Geoffrey Royce Rojas, wrote on Instagram to announce the Classic tour. “Happy to announce my CLASSIC TOUR!!! Celebrating the last ten years and all my songs that you guys have made classics,” he continued in Spanish. The singer may be only 32 years old, but his catalog of bachata hits is extensive enough to create a night of killer dance moves and major musical memories.
This is the first trek for Prince Royce since the pandemic shut down his Alter Ego tour in March 2020, and he’s ready to give fans a dose of the dreamy Spanish hits they’ve missed. You may remember his self-titled debut album back in 2010, which featured the baby-faced bachata star singing “Stand By Me,” “Corazón Sin Cara,” and “Mi Última Carta.” His popularity has only grown with each passing album, and you’ll hear exquisite songs from every era on the Classic tour.
Since his sixth album, 2020’s Alter Ego, was denied a proper tour due to the pandemic, you can expect to hear some newer songs on the setlist. Think “El Clavo,” “Adicto,” “Morir Solo,” and “Trampa.” He also recently collaborated with Argentine artists Maria Becerra on the song “Te Espero,” which scored a top 10 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart. Prince Royce is grateful for every fan who has discovered him over the past decade-plus, and he’s expressing his appreciation at every turn.
“I am thrilled to be able to share the Classic Tour with all of my fans who have been there for me unconditionally since the very beginning of my career,” he said in a statement. “I am still here, thanks to you all, and this tour is for you.
