Dirty Heads 2022 Tour Announcement – Let’s Get It Kraken Tour Schedule
Dirty Heads has announced the Let’s Get It Kraken tour for summer 2022, joined by SOJA and Tribal Seeds. The trek begins on June 24th in Seattle, WA, with visits to all the major cities before the final show on August 12th in Chicago, IL.
This Dirty Heads tour supports their eighth album, Best Of, which features all the best hits from the SoCal reggae-rockers. They’ve been doing this since 2006, so there’s no shortage of hit songs to sway along to. You’ll likely hear tracks like “Lay Me Down,” “Cabin By the Sea,” and “Vacation,” the last of which has become a viral TikTok sensation.
The 2017 song gained popularity on the platform in mid-2021, as Gen Z started doing the “vacation challenge.” Some were even located in the Dirty Heads’ home base of Orange County, CA! The band has shared their reggae-rock tracks over three different decades — from the millennials who listened to “Lay Me Down” on KROQ in the early 2000s to the Gen Z’ers and everybody in between — and it’s going to be quite the diverse crowd on the Dirty Heads tour.
It hasn’t been long since the band was last on stage, as they toured with longtime friends and collaborators Sublime with Rome in fall 2021. The two SoCal rock bands share not just similar influences and a love for their sunny hometown but a lot of the same fans… so it was basically a reggae-rock rager.
